Donald Trump says he was puzzled by the disappearance of up to 200 pairs of shoes from his girlfriend Marla Maples' apartment. But now police say the mystery's been solved with the arrest of her publicist.

Chuck Jones, 49, of Greenwich, Conn., was arrested this week and charged with stealing dozens of pairs of high-heeled shoes from Maples' Trump Parc apartment, police said."She was just missing shoes," Trump told the tabloid TV show "A Current Affair." "They were gone and they were taken in vast quantities and always having to buy shoes, and not being a clothes hog, I said, `Are you Imelda Marcos?' "

Jones was charged with burglary, possessing stolen property and possessing three unlicensed handguns. He posted $5,000 bail Friday.
