Seven years after his death, actor-director Orson Welles' name will appear on movie marquees this fall.
His 1942 South American film, "Four Men on a Raft," discovered in 1985 in a Paramount film vault, will be released in theaters with a related documentary under the title "It's All True."The Welles movie recreates the heroic 1941 voyage of four fishermen who sailed 1,650 miles around the coast of Brazil to plead their case for workers' rights to their president.
The documentary tells the story of the film's recovery and efforts to bring it to public view. "It's All True," produced by Paramount Pictures, premieres next week at the New York Film Festival.
