Imogene Kesler Linford died December 12, 1993 at the age of 84 at her home in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born April 11, 1909 in Salt Lake City to Alonzo Pratt and Donnette Smith Kesler, and was a granddaughter of President Joseph F. Smith. She married Leon Blood Linford on June 20, 1936 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on March 12, 1957.She was an active member of the LDS Church all of her life; a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and served as a Scottish name-extraction missionary from May 17, 1981 to May 31, 1988. She was a licensed practical nurse at the LDS Hospital for 19 years (1958-1977).

She is survived by two sons and their spouses, Lawrence Leon and Erika Just Linford of Seattle, Wash.; and Rulon Kesler and Cecile Tadje Linford of Los Alamos, New Mexico; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson; brothers, Mack Smith Kesler of Salt Lake City; and Henry Smith Kesler of Westwood, California.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 20, at 12 noon at the 21st Ward, 2nd Avenue & 'K' Street. Friends may meet with her family from 10:45-11:45 a.m. in the ward Relief Society Room. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
