Donald Max Lichty, 85, died December 16, 1993 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born January 22, 1908 in Hyannis, Nebraska to Sam and Jesse Howard Lichty. Married Kathryne Lay in 1934. She preceded him in death in 1990.He was a banker in Alliance, Nebraska. He retired from banking business in 1973. At one time, he was the president of Group 6 Nebraska Bankers' Association. Member of Lodge 183 AF&AM Alliance, Nebraska. Shriner Tehama Temple of Hastings, Nebraska. Member of York rite and Scottish rite of Free Masonry. Member BPOE Alliance, Nebraska Lodge No. 961.
Survived by his children, Jo Everett, Littleton, Colo.; Jeri Williams, Sandy, Utah; Gene Howard, Castle Rock, Colo.; six grandsons, seven great-grandchildren; sister, Unice Benson, Tacoma, Washington.

Memorial services will be held Monday, December 20, 1993, 2 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East, under the direction of Canyon Lodge F&AM.
