How did we ever happen to let Christ be taken out of Christmas?

I went to four stores, including one greeting card store, looking for Christmas cards representing the glorious birth of the Savior. I found cards with Santa Claus, poinsettias, birds, animals, toys, trains, churches, barns, bridges, farm houses, skiers, skaters, ornaments, trees and candy canes, but no baby Jesus, no Mary and Joseph, no shepherds, no wise men, no angels and no star. Where did they go?I had a few appropriate cards, suggesting the Savior's birth, left from last year, but not nearly enough for all. Many of our friends will receive cards with winter scenes, animals, flowers and birds.

Unless I find real Christmas cards, depicting the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I shall not send any Christmas cards next year.
