Our beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend passed on to a much brighter world, March 11, 1993.
Born Oct 9, 1917, to William George and Mina Jensen Olsen, in Ephraim, Utah. He married Viola June Lundskog, Sept 13, 1940, Salt Lake Temple. He honored the Lord and His Priesthood all of his life, and set a Gospel standard for all to follow.He loved the outdoors and appreciated nature to a degree few ever enjoy.
His great talent was in gospel instruction and scholarship. He served missions to Northern Calif. and a mission to Tennessee with his wife. He was in the bishopric of the Imperial II Ward and served for eight years as a temple ordinance worker.
He is survived by his eternal partner, Viola "Vi" Olsen; his sons; Ron and Ray, Moab, Utah; and Kent; his daughters, Eileen White and Dianne Anderson, Salt Lake City; 22 grandchildren; his brother, Evan Olsen, Salt Lake City; and his sister, Fern Oviatt, Barstow, California.
Funeral services will be held Mon., 12 noon, March 15, 1993 in the Imperial Second Ward, 1560 E. Atkin Ave. (2830 So). Friends may call Sun., March 14, at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So Highland Dr., from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward Mon., from 10:45 -11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
