Penguins left wing Kevin Stevens underwent surgery Saturday to repair a facial damage suffered the night before when the Penguins were eliminated from the NHL playoffs.

Stevens came away from a jarring collision with New York Islanders defenseman Rich Pilon with a concussion, a broken nose and a cut above his right eye.
