Our precious six-year-old son, Michael Blair Fenton, returned to our Heavenly Father on July 8, 1993 when he drowned in the American Fork River.

Michael was born on October 8, 1986 to Blair and Sylvia Feurer Fenton in Salt Lake City. Michael was a thoughtful and considerate son and brother, and had a warm, friendly presence about him that was felt by all who knew him. He has touched many lives with his enthusiasm, sincerity, and keen sense of humor, and will be sorely missed.Michael completed kindergarten at the Waterford School and had a deep love of school and learning. He performed with Sunshine Generation for 3 1/2 years. Michael was a Star B in Primary. His favorite stories came from the scriptures; his favorite songs were Primary songs. Michael loved swimming and was an excellent swimmer. He enjoyed rollerblading, rock collecting, hiking, and bike riding. He loved fireworks, building and launching model rockets, jigsaw puzzles, and storytime. Michael was a compassionate child and loved people, especially his three brothers. Michael's closest and dearest friend and soulmate was his dad.

Michael is survived by his parents; three brothers: Jonathan, 5; Timothy, 3; and William, 1; grandparents, Dale and Helen Fenton, and Arthur and Alice Feurer, all of Salt Lake City; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 12 noon, July 20, 1993 in the Salt Lake Central Stake Center, 951 East 100 South.
