Candice R. Wilson, beloved wife, mother, and sister, age 43 of Alpine, passed away Sunday, August 1, 1993 at her home of cancer.
She was born July 8, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Gordon W. and Zana R. Lewis Cummins. She married Andrew S. (Steve) Wilson, September 11, 1971 in Menlo Park, California. Their marriage was solemnized in the Los Angeles LDS Temple in 1973.A dedicated educator in the Jordan School District, a homemaker and active member of the Alpine Second Ward. She gave 20 years of dedicated service to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through callings as Primary president, Young Women's president, and four times as Relief Society president. She leaves behind a legacy of compassionate service and dedication toward her fellowman.
Survived by her husband, Steve, and children, Whitney, Kyle, Travis, and Ryan, all of Alpine; brothers, Gordon W. Cummins, Park City, Utah; Richard L. Lundahl, Menlo Park, California; and sister, Deborah Ann Scott, Los Gatos, California. She was endeared by all who knew her and will be missed greatly.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 4, 1993 at 10 a.m. in the Alpine 2nd Ward LDS Chapel, 98 East Canyon Crest Road. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at the Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main, Lehi, and at the church in Alpine on Wednesday one hour prior to services. Burial, Alpine City Cemetery.
