A recent National Restaurant Association survey shows that a growing number of table-service restaurants are providing fax numbers for customers to place orders for carry-out, delivered or catered meals.

According to the association's most recent table service operator survey, the nation's fine dining restaurants (per person dinner check of $25 and over) are the most apt to offer fax service. Six of 10 such restaurants provided this feature to patrons last year.
