Raymond W. Christensen, age 69, passed away January 13, 1994 in Salt Lake City.
Born June 17, 1924 in Brigham City, Utah, to Raymond and Jane Y. Watkins Christensen. Married Barbara Cowan, February 10, 1979 in Salt Lake City. Veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. After retiring, Chris and his wife enjoyed short trips.Survived by wife, West Valley City; stepsons, Jerrold Ferguson; Doy Ray Ferguson, both of Salt Lake City; stepdaughter, Debbie (Dale) Robinson, West Valley City; six grandchildren; sister, Eva Jane (Eugene) Marsh, Perry, Utah; two daughters of a previous marriage, Lynn Rae Christensen, Barbara Ann Christensen.
Funeral services will be held Monday 12 noon, at the Granger 14th Ward, 2101 West 3100 South. Friends may call Sunday, 5-7 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, and Monday one hour prior to services at the church. Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
