Ethel Nelson Zollinger passed away on December 31, 1993 at the age of 72.

She was born on February 14, 1921 in Logan, Utah to Wesley and Martha Nelson. She was married to Clinton David Zollinger on April 25, 1944 in the Logan LDS Temple.She taught school in Garland, Utah and graduated from Utah State University. Raising a family of eight children, she made her home in Kaysville, Utah. Ethel was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She always had a cheerful disposition and a smile and a hug for her grandchildren. She loved quilting, crocheting and gardening. She loved to play the piano and organ.

As a faithful member of the LDS Church, she and her husband served two missions to the Washington, Spokane Mission and to the Germany, Frankfurt Mission. She was an avid sports fan and never missed the opportunity to see her children play and to watch her favorite teams.

She is survived by her husband and her children, Ruth Ann Davis (and Roger) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Gary (and Thelissa) of Denver, Colo.; Marie Woodfield (and Blair) of LeGrande, Ore.; Richard (and Lezlie) of Fremont, Calif.; Martha Hess (and Paul) of Farmington; Karen of Salt Lake City; Edwin (and Edon) of Kaysville; and by 32 grandchildren. Also survived by two brothers, Reed and Ed Nelson; and three sisters, Myrle Bingham, Vera Later, and Barbara Leffler. Preceded in death by a son, Clinton Dennis; and a brother, Harvard.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the LDS Church Missionary Fund.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 12 noon at the Kaysville East Stake Center, 600 East 200 South, Kaysville. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lindquist Mortuary and one hour prior to the services at the stake center. Interment, Kaysville Cemetery.
