Leanne Baker Johnston, age 45, passed away November 21, 1994 in West Valley City.
Leanne courageously battled the affects of post polio syndrome and her death resulted from complications due to the aftermath of the dreaded disease. Leanne never, ever, gave up.Born November 9, 1949 in Pocatello, Idaho, daughter of Orval L. Baker and Beatrice Lloyd Baker. Married Daniel Watson Johnston III, August 19, 1972, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She and Dan met and graduated from Utah State University and made their home in Salt Lake City.
Survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Dan, Salt Lake City; parents; brother, Dale Baker, Salt Lake City; sisters, Danette Seifert, Mesa, Ariz.; Georgette Kimball, West Jordan; nieces, Angie and Nicole; nephews, J. L., Ty, Andrew and Skyler ("her kids"); and all her special friends.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, November 26, at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road. Viewing will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
