The Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum has named the co-founder of SoftSolutions as its 1994 Entrepreneur of the Year.

Ken Duncan, who now serves as the vice president and general manager of Novell's GroupWare Division, was honored last week at a banquet at Utah Valley State College. Duncan also is a finalist for Inc. Magazine's Entrepreneur of the Year award."He's not only prominent here, but also in the rest of the state and nation," said Delance Squire, chairman of the Commission for Economic Development of Orem.

Duncan spent several years as chief executive officer of SoftSolutions, one of the major producers of hardware and software for the legal profession. In 1994 the company was sold to WordPerfect, which later merged with Novell.
