Some Marshall Field's elves in Chicago catch a few winks before the kickoff of an event announcing the company's gift to the city. Marshall Field's unveiled an 18-foot gift box filled with 500 elves who will be performing "random acts of kindness" throughout the city for the 12 days leading up to Christmas.
