Evening mist closes in around an old barn in west Orem. High clouds spread over the state Wednesday night as a weakening weather system shifted over the West Coast. Patchy fog in the Cache Valley was thinning, while thick fog continued in the valleys surrounding Delta. Meanwhile, the same storm that dropped more than a foot of snow Tuesday in the Utah mountains moved on to the north-central plains. The Wasatch Front forecast calls for increasing clouds and a chance of snow after midnight.
