The paintings of 17th-century Spanish religious and portrait artist Bartolome Esteban Murillo (1617-82) are illustrated on the 1994 Christmas Fine Arts Series from the Grenada Grenadines, a Caribbean island chain.

The paintings are "The Annunciation" (15 cents), "The Adoration of the Shepherds" (35 cents), "Flight Into Egypt" (50 cents), "Madonna of the Napkin" (65 cents) and "Virgin and Child" (75 cents).Other Murillo paintings on the Christmas postage set are "Virgin of the Rosary" , "Virgin and Child with St. Rose" , "The Holy Family" , "The Holy Family With A Little Bird" and "Adoration of The Shepherds" . The last two are souvenir sheets.
