A head banger who got his head banged is suing the band Metallica. Todd Miller, a University of Iowa student, says the band's negligence during a 1993 concert in Iowa City led other concertgoers to push, kick, pick him up and drop him on his head. He was three rows from the stage. In his suit, Miller said he suffered head, back, shoulder and leg injuries. He also said he's been permanently robbed of his sense of smell. He is seeking unspecified damages.
