Gloria. That word describes the exhilarating feeling of both performer and audience after the exceptional concert given by the combined choirs of the University of Utah and Brigham Young University in Abravanel Hall Dec 7. Grateful thanks to the professors and students alike for providing the community with such an inimitable gift for the holiday season.
The choral music was complemented by an outstanding brass and organ accompaniment. The pieces performed were thrilling.Kudos to those fine teachers who inspire students to give of themselves with such superior effort. The feeling of awe evident in the audience surely is reward to them for their remarkable talents and performance. Everyone there was greatly rewarded. We can only hope this becomes an annual combined choir concert. We are looking forward to it already.
