Orian Lewis Allen, 74, of Richfield, Utah passed away Dec. 15, 1994 at his home.

He was born May 8, 1920 in Teasdale, Utah to Lewis Albert and Isabelle Peterson Allen. Orian married Merle Burr, November 21, 1947, in Burrville, Utah. The marriage was solemnized February 22, 1956 in the Manti LDS Temple. He graduated from Wayne High School and is a veteran of World War II. He was a U.S. Mail driver from Richfield to Wayne County for 17 years and also worked at Sevier Valley Co-op for six years. Orian has been disabled for 28 years. He was a member of the LDS Church and in his younger years was active in the organizations.Survivors: Merle Allen; one son, two daughters, Jeff Allen, Richfield; Judy and Randy Smith, West Valley City; Marsha Allen, Magna; two grandchildren, John Baker and Scott Smith, both West Valley City; four brothers, five sisters, Carl, Glen and Kay, Salt Lake City; Bob, Coalville; Ava Ungerer, Magna; Leda Beatie, Lynn Cavin, both Murray; Jean Fleek, Layton; Youma Neerings, Ashton, Idaho; preceded in death by parents, and son, Russell Allen.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Richfield Tabernacle. Friends may call the Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Sunday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be with Military Rites by the VFW Sevier Post #5050 in the Richfield City Cemetery.
