Thelma Amelia Nelson Jensen, 82, of Provo, returned to her Heavenly Father Thursday, December 15, 1994.

Thelma was born January 19, 1912 to James and Ane Marie Christensen Nelson in Provo, Utah. She married Howard L Jensen May 1, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Most of her life has been spent in Provo. She lived a life of service to her Master, her family, friends and neighbors. Thelma was loved by all who knew her. She and her husband filled a 30 month mission to England. While there, she served in the London LDS Temple. She also was active in ward and stake auxiliaries of her church, and was a current Relief Society visiting teacher.She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Eldon, a daughter, Jane Ellen and a granddaughter, Ane Christiana. She is survived by her husband, four daughters, and two sons, Kairle and Glade Terry, Karma and Gary Fryer, Sharon and Brent Fryer, Tamara and Bill Dyet, Paul and Beverly Jensen, David and Joan Jensen; 25 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Irene and Earl Thompson and Shirley and Bernell Boswell.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19, at 11 a.m. at the Grandview 4th Ward, 1120 North 850 West, Provo. Friends may call Sunday evening December 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Walker Mortuary, 85 East 300 South, Provo, or Monday morning at the ward chapel one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery, Provo, Utah.
