Alice Frena Worley Binns, 81, passed away December 15, 1994 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born September 19, 1913, in Logan, Utah a daughter of Lester and Lena Grunder Worley. Married John Alma Binns, August 26, 1933 in Logan and later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He preceded her in death. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in the Relief Society and other organizations. She loved to sing in the ward choirs and direct music. She lived in Logan, Spokane, Washington and Salt Lake City. She was employed at the Crescent Department Store in Spokane for several years and then moved to Salt Lake City where she was employed by ZCMI for twenty years, retiring in 1992. Her friends and family were her pride and joy in life. She loved everyone and everyone loved her.Survived by four children: John L. (Donna), Spokane; Mrs. Judy (James) Selander, Vienna, Virginia; Thomas W. (Shirley), Salt Lake City; and Richard M. (Tami), Fountain Valley, California; 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean and one grandson, Christian.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19, 1994, 11 a.m. at the Taylorsville 26th Ward, 3495 West 4850 South. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the Ward 10:00-10:45 AM prior to services. Interment Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Spokane, Washington.
