Utah Jazz players David Benoit and Bryon Russell will bring the Christmas spirit to several families in the community this holiday season.

The two NBA players have established nonprofit foundations to assist local and national community outreach programs. The David Benoit Foundation Inc. and the Bryon Russell Foundation Inc. will be extend some holiday cheer to deserving families in the Salt Lake area.Sunday at 1:15 p.m., the David Benoit Foundation will donate Christmas trees to 21 members of the Calvary Baptist Church. Twenty-one represents Benoit's jersey number.

In addition, the Bryon Russell Foundation will donate food baskets to 34 residents of the Calvary Tower Senior Citizens Home. Thirty-four is Russell's jersey number.

All of the recipients will be present for a holiday reception, hosted by Pro Motion Sports Management President Bennie Smith Jr. and Aline Benoit and Kim Russell, wives of David and Bryon.
