Mike Jones scored six points and Petey Sessoms added five during overtime Friday night to give Old Dominion a 94-86 victory over Weber State in the opening round of the Nike Festival.

With the scored tied at 83-83, Sessoms hit a 3-pointer and Jones followed with three straight field goals to put the Monarchs (5-3) ahead for good.Sessoms, who keyed a 24-10 run late in the first half with 11 points, finished with 24 points. Mario Mullen added 22 and Jones had 20.

The defeat offset a big scoring night for Jimmy DeGraffenried, who finished with 35 points for the Wildcats (3-3). He connected on 12 of 19 from the field, 7 of 12 3-pointers.
