- Cecil and Ella Henderson

Cecil and Ella Henderson were married 72 years ago on Dec. 24, 1922, in Taber, Alberta, and later sealed in the Alberta Temple. They farmed in the Barnwell district in southern Alberta until 1950 when they moved to Lethbridge where he was employed by the gas company. He served as home teacher and she as a Primary teacher. She also served as visiting teacher for more than 50 years. She is known for her beautiful quilting. Members of the Lethbridge 5th Ward, Lethbridge Alberta East Stake. Parents of four children, they have 16 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
