Terry Dean Orwin, 47, died Thursday, December 15, 1994 at his home of cancer.

He was born November 29, 1947 in Brigham City, a son of Dean Voss and Ruby Anderson Orwin. He married Louise Roberts, December 20, 1974 in the Ogden LDS Temple.Terry was reared and educated in Tremonton and graduated from Bear River High School and Utah State University. He worked as a manager of facilities engineering at Thiokol. He had a deep love for music and was an accomplished pianist. He enjoyed stamp collecting and steam trains. He loved to garden, raise fruit trees and read. He was a High Priest in the Tremonton 1st LDS Ward, serving in the past as a Gospel Doctrine teacher, home teacher, accompanist and a teacher in the Priesthood Quorums.

He had been an officer in the Army Reserve.

Survivors include his wife of Tremonton; five sons, one daughter, Jeffrey Paul, Jonathan Terry, William Dean, Thomas Alma, Mary Florence, and Samuel Micah, all of Tremonton; his mother, Ruby A. Orwin, one brother, James R. Orwin, Omak, Washington. He was preceded in death by his father, Dean V. Orwin.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, December 20, 1994 at 12 noon in the Tremonton 1st and 7th Ward Chapel with Bishop Harry L. McMurdie officiating. Friends may call at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, 111 North 100 East, Tremonton, Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:15-11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Bothwell Valley View Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Honor Guard.
