Our dear loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, Paul Holt Slack, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home Dec. 17, 1994.

He was born Feb. 19, 1921 to Horace Roy and Ethel Holt Slack in Spanish Fork, Utah. He married his sweetheart, Lucile Pack, Nov. 14, 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a veteran of World War II. He was employed by Utah Power & Light for 31 years. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church, having served faithfully in many organizations throughout his life. He loved his family, the church, gardening and classical music. He had a phenomenal memory and a keen sense of humor.Survived by his wife and eight children, Irene Yeates, Beverly (Lewis) Pierce, Evelyn (Bert) Gowans, Ronald (Debi) Slack, Jeanette (Kim) Paul, Carol (David) Thomas, Raymond (Sara Jane) Slack, and John (Kimberly) Slack, 33 grandchildren, brother and sister, Wayne Slack and Jean Collard. Preceded in death by a son, David, four grandchildren, and a brother, Lawrence.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, at 12 noon in the Rose Park 4th Ward Chapel, 1153 West 800 North, Salt Lake. Friends may call at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 So. 200 East, Salt Lake, Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and at the church, Wednesday 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
