Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Nellie May Wint Wright, 88, passed away peacefully on December 15, 1994 in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah following a stroke.

Born August 18, 1906 in Nauvoo, Alabama to John and Martha Jane King Wint. Married Ray R Wright, February 17, 1943 in Green River, Wyoming. Marriage solemnized April 7, 1943 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away on June 18, 1966.She loved children and taught Primary for many years in Wyoming and in the Kimball Ward in South Salt Lake. She participated in a weekly family home evening group and attended the temple each week for many years.

Nellie was loving, generous, kind and loved flowers and feeding anyone that entered her home. She loved baking rolls for friends and neighbors and making quilts for many family members. Her greatest joy in life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survived by her children: Marie Hansen, of Shelley, Idaho; Merl (Margaret) Wright, serving in the Siberia LDS Mission, Lydia J. Fackrell, of Green River, Wyoming; Lenard (Kathy) Wright, of North Salt Lake; Thana (Phill) Harding, of Salt Lake City. She has 22 grandchildren, and 37 great-grandchildren, sister, Rosa Clara Prestridge, of Jasper, Alabama. Preceded in death by brothers, J. Frank Wink, LeRoy Wint, and sister, Pheobe M. Wint.

Funeral services will be held Monday, December 19, 1994, 12 noon at the Haven LDS Ward Chapel, 2280 South 300 East, South Salt Lake. Friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. at Colonial Memorial Mortuary, 2128 So. State St. and Monday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
