Mildred Esther Robinson Clawson, 84, lifelong resident of Roy, died Friday, December 16, 1994.

She was born December 8, 1910, in Roy, Utah a daughter of William Jesse and Polly Annie Meservy Robinson. She married David Maroni Clawson on December 7, 1931, in Morgan, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. She was a member of the LDS Church, and was a member of the Roy 8th Ward. She held numerous positions in the church, and served a mission to Virginia. She was a Charter Member of the Aprender Guild Club. Mildred also was a member of the Sand Rose Camp of the DUP. She worked for Varney Canning Co. for 35 years, Weber Co. School Lunch Program, and Gibby's Floral Greenhouse.Survivors include: two sons and five daughters, Stephen R. and Linda Clawson, Sunset; Scott M. Clawson, Kemmerer, Wyoming; Marilyn A. Fenwick, Mesa, Arizona; Gail C. and Dick Brewer of Sunset; M. June and Ed Higbee, Murray; Glenna C. and Morrie Dean, Kirkland, Washington; and Robin and Bruce Christensen, Roy; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Lloyd Jessie and Annie Robinson, Ogden. She was preceded ind eath by her parents, two sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 1994, at 11 a.m. at the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Roy, 5865 So. 1900 West, with Bishop Dan Stephens of the Roy 8th Ward officiating. Friends and family may meet Tuesday at the mortuary from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Roy City Cemetery.
