Edna Hansen Roden, age 77, passed away Saturday, December 17, 1994.
She was a daughter of Peter Raymond and Mary Hallquist Hansen, born in Logan, Utah on June 25, 1917. They moved to Salt Lake City when she was 6 months old. Member of the LDS Church, active in earlier years in the Primary as teacher, secretary and President. Served in Relief Society as secretary and counselor both in Bountiful and Rodeo Ward in California. She had lived at the Bountiful Manor for 14 years, moving there in 1982. She was educated in Salt Lake City schools until graduation from West High School in 1934. Married Warren E. Roden, April 6, 1941, in Provo, Utah. He preceded her in death Dec. 1, 1980.She is survived by: one son, Michel and wife, Mariene of Bountiful; one daughter, Louise Roden Broad, Henderson, Nevada; a brother, Russell C. Hansen; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; preceded in death by daughter, Mary Ann Nolan in 1994, sister, Audrey Kresser, two brothers, Ray LaMar and Virgil H. Hansen.
Funeral services will be Wedensday, Dec. 21, 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 No. 400 East, where friends may call Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
