Deseret News readers who saw the article about Billy Van's dance hall in the Sunday, Nov. 6, 1994, newspaper may be interested to learn the Millard County landmark is being considered for the National Register of Historic Places. Diane Chidester of Ogden is Billy Van's granddaughter and now owns the dance hall building.

She forwarded a letter to the Deseret News from the Utah State Historical Society, telling her that the Utah Board of State History has approved Van's Hall in Delta, Utah, for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
