All the ornaments are four to 8 inches long and weigh no more than 6 ounces. Also, six of the Society's top painters submitted a variety of hand-painted decorative pieces for use in Vice President Al Gore's residence and are featured in the Christmas issue of Ladies Home Journal which appeared on news stands Nov. 15. One of the artists, Judy Duarte, from Virgin, Utah, donated a hand-painted plate.
