Our beloved mother and grandmother, Edith May Taylor Anderson, 86, passed away Thursday, December 15, 1994 at the Salt Lake Regional Center after a brief bout with pneumonia.
Edith was born to George and Mary Emilly Rosser Taylor on May 10, 1908 in Bingham, Utah. She was the youngest of six children. She married Victor Anderson on July 30, 1927; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Edith Anderson was an active member of the LDS Church and loved the gospel. She held numerous positions in the church including Relief Society, visiting teacher, Sunday School and Primary teacher.
Survivors include her sons and their wives: Alvin and Maxine, Douglas and Arlene, LaMar, Daniel and Marcia; also, five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; and 20 nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband; her granddaughter, Savannah; and all her siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Tuesday, December 20, 1994 at the Emigration Stake 21st Ward, "K" Street and 2nd Avenue, Salt Lake City. A viewing will be held from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Logan City Cemetery at 4:30 p.m. Funeral directors, Russon Brothers Mortuary, Salt Lake City.
