Our beloved Claudia slipped softly into her Heavenly Father's Arms early Sunday evening, December 18, 1994, from Cystic Fibrosis.
Claudia was born on November 1, 1963 to Reece and Shirley Ann Stobbe Goodrich. She married John R. Stevens in the Salt Lake City Temple on January 15, 1985. She graduated from Alta High School and earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Brigham Young University.Claudia was an active member of the LDS Church and held many positions in the Young Woman's Programs in the Crescent 1st Ward, Spring Lake 2nd Ward and the Ivins 2nd Ward.
She was also active in The 4-H Horse Club as a member and a leader. She loved her horses, her dogs, and her cats.
Claudia was the Utah Cystic Fibrosis poster child when she was three years old. She had a special place in the hearts of all who knew her. Her sweet, friendly and loving spirit will always be remembered by her family and many friends. She was always sharing and giving of herself to others.
Claudia is survived by her husband John; her parents; her brother Mark; her sister Rebecca and husband Kent Watson; her father and mother-in-law John D. and Marilyn Stevens, all Utah.
She will always be remembered as an angel to her husband, family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 1994 at 11:00 a.m. at the Crescent 1st Ward, 116 East 11400 South, Draper, Utah. Friends may call at the ward Tuesday Evening, December 20th, 6-80 p.m. and on Wednesday, 10 10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Crescent Cemetery, 11100 South State. Funeral Directors, Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary.
