Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Scrowther Burris, died Sunday, December 18, 1994 in Logan, Utah.
She was born December 30, 1913 in Smithfield, Utah, a daughter of William and Delores R. Scrowther.Betty was raised and educated in Cache Valley. She lived many years in Salt Lake City and later returned to Smithfield. She was married to Wesley T. Burris in Preston, Idaho on February 10, 1951. He preceded her in death.
Survivors: Daughter, Ann Burris, granddaughter, Julie Burris, both of Smithfield, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Norman.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 12 noon in the Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday evening from 6-7:30 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Smithfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Betty's name to the Sunshine Terrace Foundation, 225 North 200 West, Logan, Utah 84321.
