But you can see Kellie Martin, who played Becca Thacher on "Life," in the new frontier drama "Christy," set to premiere this spring on CBS.Q. A. Lamas turned 36 on Jan. 20. Best known as Lance Cumson on "Falcon Crest" (1981-90), he portrays street cop Reno Raines on the syndicated "Renegade." Lamas attended private schools in Los Angeles and New York City while growing up. At the urging of his celebrity mother and father, Fernando Lamas and Arlene Dahl, he enrolled in Tony Barr's Film Actors Workshop in 1975. His professional acting career began with a role on "Switch" in 1976. He and his third wife, "Renegade" co-star Kathleen Kinmont, recently split. The two say their broken romance won't affect their working relationship.

A. The popular dog show, the oldest sporting event in the United States, will air live over two nights, Feb. 14 and 15, 8-11 p.m. , on USA cable. Each night's show will be repeated the next day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. .

A. Van Dyke will turn 43 on July 31. He played St. John Hawke on "Airwolf" and co-starred with his famous dad on the "Van Dyke Show," seen on CBS from October through December 1988.
Q. I saw a segment on "Entertainment Tonight" about an upcoming movie called "Birds II," a sequel to Alfred Hitchcock's original movie "The Birds." I'm a big Hitchcock fan and would like to know when and where it will be released and who will be in the movie. - M.R., Holland, Ohio.
A. Look for "The Birds II: Land's End" to debut on Showtime cable March 19. The sequel features a cameo by original "Birds" star Tippi Hedren. Brad Johnson ("Ned Blessing") and Chelsea Fields ("Angel Falls") are the stars.

A. "Stoney Burke" was on ABC during the 1962-63 season. Jack Lord starred as a modern-day rodeo cowboy, with Bruce Dern and Warren Oates in supporting roles. Five years later, Lord found more long-term success as Steve McGarrett on "Hawaii Five-0."
