How the game works: Welcome to the Land of Oz, and journey on a quest through 31 levels of adventure as you control Dorothy, The Scarecrow, The Tin Man and The Cowardly Lion on their quest to reach the Emerald City. Along the way, collect tickets to enter the Emerald City, find hundreds of hidden items and get lost in munchkin mazes.
Good points, bad points: The animation provided by SeTa's talented staff is excellent - Oh My! - and contains detailed original background graphics and BIG character graphics as well. Nintendo's Mode 7 effects give you a full 360-degree view of the game and include 13 sound tracks with four from the movie. Tip: When first starting to play, go slow; it will pay off later as things get more complicated. Of all the movie-to-video game transformations, this is the best recreation to date. How could you go wrong with a classic like the Wizard of Oz?
