My husband, my boyfriend, my best friend, Steven J.Kerby, died March 25, 1994 after a long battle with cancer. He was dearly loved by family and friends and will be missed.
Born February 10, 1935 to Pete and Rose Gonzales in Helper, Utah. Married Mary Ann Barlow, March 8, 1957, divorced in 1969. Married Janice Marie Jensen, March 24, 1984. Served in the Navy Sea Bees and in law enforcement retiring after 23 years of service as a deputy with the Salt Lake County Sheriffs Office in January 1984. He loved motorcycling, acting and being a mountain man.Survived by his wife, Janice; mother, Rose Anderson and his daughters, Deborah Lavery, Rosan Kerby, Gina Maynes and their spouses; grandchildren, Morgan, Cody and Jesse; niece, Tami Hitesman; sister-in-law, Darlene. Preceded in death by his father and brother Ray Gonzales.
Funeral service will be held Monday, March 28, 1994, 2 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, where friends may call Sunday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
