German amateur Sven Teutenberg became the first rider to win two stages of this year's Tour DuPont, taking the 131-mile ninth stage and its $10,000 bonus on Friday.

Teutenberg, who also won the second stage, outsprinted Djamolidin Abdujaparov of Uzbekistan, one of the sport's top pro sprinters, by a half-wheel length to claim the Asheville-to-Charlotte road race in 5 hours, 35 minutes, 28 seconds.Abdujaparov, who won three sprinting stages in last year's Tour de France was second.
