Daniel Wishard Hamner, died September 14th during a valiant attempt to give him life by the Primary Children's Cardiac Transplant Team.

He was born August 17, l994 in Sandy, Utah to T. Sterling Shawn Hamner Sr. and Debbi Soderquist Hamner, members of the Mount Jordan 8th Ward.Survived by parents; brother and sister, T. Sterling Shawn Hamner Jr. and Mary Caroline Hamner; grandparents, Louie D. Jr. and Mary Sloan Hamner, of Mount Auburn, Indiana, and Leon Fred and Margareta Sjoberg Soderquist of Bluffdale, Utah; also great-grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Our celestial angel, Daniel:

We shall miss you so dearly. Our lives are forever touched and blessed by your short stay. We would have loved to have held you tighter, talked to you longer and kissed you forever. But we mournfully know you must be about your Father's business. Good-bye for now, our blessed Danny Boy. Love Mom and Dad.

Our heart felt appreciation goes to the staff of Primary Children's Medical Center, the family of the unknown heart donor and all of our family and friends.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 22, 1994, 4:00 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Babyland, 10600 So. 1700 East, in Sandy. Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel.
