Mickey Michael Callisto, age 76, died September 3, 1994 at his home in Midvale.
Born February 16, 1918 in Nashwack, Minnesota to Angelo and Margaret Mallaro Callisto. Mickey was married and divorced.He was a heavy equipment operator for Kennecott Copper Corporation with 39 years of service. A Veteran of World War II, he served in the U. S. Army. He was an avid bowler and golfer and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
Survivors: children, Barry Callisto, Sandy; Dennis Callisto, Midvale; Mike Callisto, Salt Lake; Peter Callisto, Bountiful; stepchildren, Nancy Tonge, West Jordan; Darleen Lidell, Murray; Curt Heikkenen, Brainerd, Minnesota; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Victor Callisto, Arcadia, Missouri; Leno Callisto, Black River Falls, Wisconsin; sisters, Theresa Hunter, Sioux City, Iowa; Mary Swanson, Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A memorial service and gathering time for visiting will be held Wednesday, September 7, 1994 at 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, Midvale. Following Mickey's wish, his body will be cremated.
