I, Lindsay Mair, age 88, of 496 Country Club, Stansbury Park, Utah, returned to my heavenly home, Oct. 14, 1995.

I was born February 24, 1907, the youngest of ten children to Alexander and Eliza Mair. After marrying my hometown sweetheart, Edna Mae Hamilton on Sept. 17, 1928, we started our family which has grown from five children to 19 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. It's been a wonderful life! Edna and I were later sealed together for all time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. To my remaining children, remember I love you. I will be joining your mother, Arvella Mae (daughter), and Darwin Lindsay (son), but you will not be forgotten. I must leave behind, for a short time, Patsy Juanita Brozovich, of Lakepoint, Utah; Mrs. Floyd Belcher (Barbara), of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; and Lyndon "A" Mair, of Stansbury Park, Utah.

When your hour comes, walk towards the light and I will be waiting with open arms.

Mining and working as a diesel mechanic have been my lifetime vocations. I would not recommend that anyone choose the first since I almost lost my life (much too soon), twice. I was lucky to come away with only one missing ear.

I was once asked by one of the grandchildren if I could talk. Yes, but only when there's something that's worth while to say. I did however like to "kid around" with folks. I was very good at keeping a straight face!

To all of my friends and family, please join me as I bid my final farewell to you from this earth, Wednesday, October 18, 1995, 12 noon at the Grantsville Third Ward Chapel, 415 W. Apple, Grantsville, Utah. My viewing (I never liked this part) will be one hour prior to services at the same chapel. Interment, Heber City Cemetery Wednesday at 3 p.m. Funeral Directors, Olpin Mortuary, Heber City.

I go now to a better place.
