Iomega Corp. announced its one-millionth personal storage solution drive in 1995.
The company expects to ship the drive in the next few days."We have exceeded our own forecasts by shipping more than one million units already this year," said Timothy L. Hill, vice president of world wide marketing. "The increase in shipments represents 146 percent growth in units over the previous year."
Hill attributed this year's record level of units shipped to the popularity of Iomega's Zip drive and Ditto tape backup systems.
