Jodie Foster was going to call Boston home for the holidays until she got charmed by Charm City.

The actress-director returned to Baltimore on Thursday for the premiere of "Home For The Holidays," the movie she directed, starring Holly Hunter, Anne Bancroft, Charles Durning and Robert Downey Jr."They were going to make Baltimore look like Boston, but (Foster) fell in love with Baltimore," said Jed Dietz, president of the Producer's Club, a nonprofit group that promotes filming in Maryland.

The movie opens nationwide today.
