The employees of Rocky Mountain Composites have taken over the ownership and operation of the Tech Center of AeroTrans.

According to Craig Simpson, president of the new company, Rocky Mountain Composites will continue to provide goods and services to the composite structure needs of the aircraft and aerospace markets as well as certain "niche" markets in the commercial application of advanced composites.Larry J. Ashton sets the technical direction of the new company. He has earned an international reputation for his innovative and creative tooling and manufacturing concepts, which have been applied to a number of successful composite structures.

Rocky Mountain Composites has 10 owner/employees at its facilities in Springville.
