Louisa Sanchez, the maternal grandmother of the late entertainer Sammy Davis Jr. who lives at the Mary Manning Walsh Home on New York's Upper East Side, turned 111 years old Feb. 14.

Not as much fuss was made over the occasion as last year, said Elvera Davis, Mrs. Sanchez's daughter and the entertainer's mother. Then greetings came from the president, the governor and the mayor. But there were flowers and a cake."She's called `Mama Dear' at the home, and everyone loves her," Mrs. Davis said. "We've never told her about Sammy's death five years ago. At that age, 106, I didn't want to upset her."
