For the second straight week, BYU and Utah have climbed higher in the AP top 25 poll.

The No. 9-ranked Cougars have broken into the top 10 with a 41-23 win at Colorado State, and Utah’s 33-0 thumping of Utah State put the Utes two spots up to No. 15.

BYU currently stands as the highest-ranked Big 12 team, with Texas Tech (No. 11) and Houston (No. 25) also representing the conference in the poll.

West Virginia, Oklahoma State, Arizona and Kansas State all appeared in the receiving votes section.

Notre Dame, BYU’s Oct. 17 opponent in Provo, remains at No. 3 in the rankings.
