AMPHIBIOUS `AQUA-CAR' IS BEGINNING TO MAKE WAVES

Surf's up. Time to go cruisin' - in your aqua-car.

The amphibious car, called Aquastrada Delta, is now making waves on land and at sea, reports 3-2-1 Contact magazine. The Delta has a boat-shaped hull and a truck engine. It becomes a surfmobile when its wheels retract into watertight wheel wells.The original aquacar could only go 5 mph on water. But the new version has made inroads: The Delta goes 45 mph at sea and 100 mph on land.
