Erwin U. Moser passed away May 15, 1995 in Logan of natural causes.
He was born in Whitney, Idaho on June 2, 1899 to Joseph and Anna F. Moser. Married Faye A. Yeaman on June 22, 1927 in the Logan Temple. Received a Civil Engineering degree from Utah State Agricultural College (USU). Fulfilled a three-year LDS mission in New Zealand. Served in the Army during World War I and remained active in the American Legion and VFW. Also High Priest group leader, past member of the Logan Lion's Club, an avid rock-hound and sportsman. For many years was employed as Logan City Engineer, assistant State Aeronautics director and Cache County engineer before going into private land surveying. All who knew him say he was a "dynamic" man.Preceded in death by his loving wife, brothers, Alma, Pete and John Moser, sister, Mary Carlson-Johnson.
Survivors include his son, Marlow E. Moser (Marie) of Logan; three grandchildren, Cindy Logan (Robert), Idaho Falls, Idaho; Michael E. Moser, Dallas, Texas; Melanie Moser, Salt Lake City; three great-grandchildren, Amanda, Stephanie and David.
Funeral services will be held at Allen Hall Mortuary on Friday, May 19, 1995 at 1 p.m. Friends may call at the Mortuary Friday from 11:30 to 12:45. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by American Legion Post #7, M. L. Whitworth conducting.
