Mary Ellen McDonald Druce, 85, died June 4, 1995 in Sandy, Utah.
Born August 17, 1909 in Joseph, Utah, daughter of Snow and Elnora Ross McDonald. Married LeLand F. Druce, January 29, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Member of LDS Church, where she worked in the Primary and Sunday School and as a visiting teacher for 35 years. Worked in the Granite Food Service as a manager for 20 years. Member of the Valley West Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Mary was a loving, caring person, who always thought of everyone else first. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the delight of her life.Survived by four children, Shirley (Ronald) Doelle; Floyd (Nancy) Druce; Patsy (Gerald) Overby; Carol (Bill) Pendleton; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Ada Taylor; brother, Dan McDonald. Preceded in death by husband in 1973, parents, brother, E. Ross McDonald.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 2 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, where friends may call Wednesday, 5-7 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
